The Baikal Island Yarki recreation.

Yarki is a narrow line of land, dividing Lake Baikal itself from the bay where the two rivers The Upper Angara and the Kitchera flow into the lake.

The waves in the bay are weak and not high. After arriving to the north cape the group have a chance to choose the way to Yarki. The options are:

1. To go boating, using double rubber boats along the island through the bay
2. To cross the channel by boats and go hiking.
3. To go by motor boat with all of the equipment

Here there is no need to describe the day schedule. You may choose it yourself while arriving.

The beauty of Baikal is impossible to depict, you’d better see it’s irresistible fascination with your own eyes.

To be short the recreation is like this:

• Moving along the Island Yarki by sea or on foot, have short breaks to have lunch or to swim or to lie in the sun or to fish in any place you like. Enjoy the powerful Lake, its superb and terrific beauty.

Two points should be stressed here:

1. We start from the North cape, this place is marked by the stella,
2. To cross the bay in any places is the matter of several minutes.

The recommended duration of this type of recreation is about 3 days.
